Iranian, Saudi chief diplomats discuss Hajj arrangements
TEHRAN –Iran's acting Foreign Minister Ali Baqeri has held a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan to discuss the different aspects of Hajj pilgrimage rituals.
During the call, Baqeri expressed gratitude for the efforts of Saudi officials in organizing the Hajj. He highlighted the departure of Iranian pilgrims to the sacred sites and expressed hope that they would successfully complete their Hajj rituals and return home in good health.
In response, Faisal bin Farhan outlined the measures taken to provide facilities for the pilgrims. He assured that Saudi officials would make every effort to ensure that the pilgrims perform their Hajj in complete peace and health.
As Iranian pilgrims prepare to depart for the Hajj pilgrimage, the acting Iran Foreign Minister held discussions with Abdolfattah Navab, the Leader’s representative in charge of pilgrims.
Baqeri Kani highlighted the spiritual significance of Hajj, expressing hope that the pilgrims would gain profound spiritual benefits and return home safely.
He assured that the Foreign Ministry is fully committed to facilitating the pilgrimage for Iranian nationals and is in ongoing talks with Saudi officials to ensure a smooth and peaceful Hajj experience.
Abdolfattah Navab provided an update on the status of Iranian pilgrims and detailed the arrangements for their stay.
Baqeri Kani thanked all Iranian institutions involved in easing the pilgrimage process, particularly the Iranian Hajj delegation, and expressed gratitude to the Saudi officials for their cooperation.
